All's well in Creekyland.

Well August closes with a beautiful sun filled day here in Creekyland,belying the really hectic nature of the month that has just passed.

The month started with nearly 30 people either camping in the field or staying locally. Following this in quick succession we had the farrier's visit. 
Next came a flying visit by Biker, Gates and Cool quickly followed by the vet to sort out Deno's gnashers.

Later in the month Sean, Shy's other half, spent the whole day helping to cut down brambles in the orchard - the clearance work has continued at a pace during the latter part of the month

Preparations have already started for the coming winter, hay has been ordered, the workshop is being cleared to make an additional stable and the
winter coats have been sent away for cleaning and to check for any repairs that may be needed.

The rest of the month has passed without incident, daily karrit sandwiches, sarcoids cleaned and treated, fly repellent applied together with a daily groom and now that Sam, Miss C, is back from the states the lunging sessions have recommenced.  Whether Deno appreciates his new pink grooming kit is difficult to tell but all the Creekys would like to thank silver_sisters for so kindly buying him his nice new set - it has made our life a lot easier.  We have also invested in a nice new storage box for all his extra Vaseline and other bits
