We had a very busy weekend when a group of us got together and laid a concrete apron outside the stables. Not only would we like to thank all the hard workers who made and laid all the cement but we were very lucky to be donated 20 bags of cement by Mr Nick Barrett, Store Manager at Lawson's Salfords, thank you very much and we certainly put it to good use. Big, big, big thanks to everyone who visited this weekend - unbelievable - I really can't believe what you have all managed to achieve. Unless you have trundled across muddy fields in freezing rain and snow morning and evenings for weeks at a time you cannot imagine how much that slab of concrete means to Corrie and me. From this before we started taken during the last few wet weeks...
To try and make up for the lack of updates I also mentioned the live webcam so you can actually all see for yourselves what they are up to. The picture is superb for a webcam and you can even pan and tilt the camera If you would like to have a look, please e-mail me ( Frank Fryer, details on contact page ) ) and I'll give you a password. So come on, give it a go and see the big lummox and his partner in crime live. Before I actually do sign off I must thank you all again for your support in looking after these wonderful animals, without your help and encouragement Coralie and I wouldn't be able to cope - as was pointed out to me only the other day, being in my sixties, I am not as fit and able as I used to be and I am sure you will all appreciate just how much hard work and expense these two create - worth every penny and ache and pain though.
